After earning his medical degree from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Science – Nagpur University in Maharashtra, India, in 1988, Dr. Sachdeva completed an internship and residency in New Delhi before moving to the Republic of South Africa, where he gained experience in trauma and emergency medicine. Upon moving to the United States in 1995, Dr. Sachdeva completed a residency in internal medicine at Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago, affiliated with Northwestern University.
A move to Indianapolis gave Dr. Sachdeva to complete his fellowship in geriatric medicine and work as a clinic instructor of medicine at IUPUI in Indianapolis. Later, he relocated to Louisville, Kentucky, serving as a primary care physician for five years in the surrounding rural areas, before moving with his family to Phoenix in 2006.
When not serving his patients, Dr. Sachdeva enjoys spending time with his wife and professional partner, Dr. Namita Sachdeva, and their three children. He stays active by traveling, writing, singing, and reading.
