CHRISTOPHER MORRIS, DO

Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to visit my biography. If you're here, you're likely searching for a new primary care physician or looking to learn more about me before our upcoming appointment. Either way, I’m glad you're here, and I’m confident that after we meet, you'll feel reassured about your decision.

What Sets Me Apart

I am deeply committed to serving the Greater Phoenix area, and my approach to healthcare is rooted in one fundamental principle: I listen. I believe in partnering with you to navigate your healthcare decisions rather than dictating them. Every person brings their own experiences, beliefs, and values to the table, which I respect. My role is to help you make informed, personalized choices that are best for your health, with no judgment.

I also understand how important it is to maintain personal choice in healthcare. That’s why I strive to limit referrals to specialists unless necessary. In my practice, I offer a wide range of in-office procedures, such as osteopathic manipulative medicine, infant circumcisions, joint and trigger point injections, skin biopsies, and much more. Whether you're dealing with an acute or chronic condition, an injury, or a sports-related issue, I’m equipped to care for patients of all ages, from infants to seniors.

My Story

Born and raised in Arizona, I graduated from Cortez High School in 2000. After an initial stint at Arizona State University, I took a different path and joined the Army Reserve as a combat medic. It was there that I gained valuable lessons in leadership and discipline. My military service, particularly during Operation Enduring Freedom, shaped my dedication to service and set me on my current journey in healthcare.

Returning to Arizona, I spent a decade serving the Phoenix community as a patrol officer and detective with the Phoenix Police Department, primarily in the Mountain View precinct. This career allowed me to forge strong connections with the community. During this time, I also met my wife, who encouraged me to pursue my long-time passion for medicine.

I attended medical school at A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ, and completed my residency in family medicine at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. Since then, I have had the privilege of serving as a team physician for the Cleveland Guardians MLB organization, providing primary care for athletes and affiliates in Arizona.

Care for All Stages of Life

My dedication to patients extends beyond regular office hours. I strive to be available when needed, often answering weekends or after-hours calls. In addition, I offer hospice and palliative care services, ensuring compassionate, comprehensive care through every stage of life.

With extensive experience in managing acute and chronic medical conditions, injuries, and sports-related issues, I am well-prepared to meet various healthcare needs. My aim is to help keep you and your family healthy, happy, and out of the hospital.

If you're seeking a doctor who genuinely cares about the Greater Phoenix area, listens to your concerns, and is committed to your well-being, I would be honored to serve you and your family.

Thank you for considering me as your family doctor—I look forward to meeting you soon!
